North Scottsdale is full of homes where every detail has been considered — the architecture, the landscape, the finishes, the lighting. But walk into most of these estates in DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Troon, Grayhawk, or Desert Mountain and the audio system is the one thing that got overlooked. We fix that.
I've used two other home theatre installers in our last homes and it does not compare. He follows up, shows up on time, takes the time to finish the job right. If you're looking for great quality at the best price, Mike is your man.
We've got multiple video sets, and a multiple zone audio system, all embedded in the walls and ceilings, inside and outside. The audio is epic! We feel like he is not a vendor, but a friend you can count on.
He is very meticulous on his installs. Everything is perfectly level and neat! Thanks to Mike and his amazing team we now have the theatre of our dreams.
Scottsdale's best homes share a design language — clean lines, open floor plans, walls of glass that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. These spaces are architecturally stunning. They're also acoustically brutal. Vaulted ceilings scatter sound. Glass reflects it. Open layouts bleed it from room to room. And polished concrete or tile floors do nothing to help.
Most estate homes end up with underwhelming audio because it was treated as an afterthought — a builder-grade system dropped in after the design was finished, or a box of expensive speakers that sounded great in a showroom but fall apart in a 3,000-square-foot great room. We take the opposite approach. Every speaker we build is designed around your specific architecture, your room dimensions, and your materials. The result is audio that sounds as intentional as the rest of your home.
In Scottsdale, outdoor living isn't seasonal — it's year-round. Pools, fire features, outdoor kitchens, covered patios with ceiling fans and misters. These spaces get used for morning coffee and late-night entertaining alike. The audio should follow you outside without dead spots, volume wars with the neighbor's yard, or speakers that wash out in open air.
We design zone-based outdoor audio systems where each area — covered patio, pool deck, outdoor kitchen, fire pit — operates independently. Turn up the pool area for a Saturday afternoon. Keep the patio quiet for conversation. Run music across the entire backyard for a party. Every zone is controlled from your phone, and the coverage is engineered so sound stays where you want it without blasting the neighbors two lots over.
We work with Scottsdale's architects, custom home builders, and interior designers to get audio into the conversation during the design phase — not after drywall is up and furniture is placed. When speaker placement, cable routing, and acoustic treatment are part of the architectural plans, the end result is dramatically better and far less disruptive than retrofitting later.
On-wall thin-mount designs and tower speakers built in our Arizona workshop. Finishes selected to complement contemporary desert materials — raw concrete, blackened steel, white oak, walnut, matte plaster. CNC-machined cabinets available in powered or passive configurations. Every pair is built for one home. 10-year warranty. See our warranty page for full details.
There's a reason we don't operate a showroom. A treated demo room with 8-foot ceilings tells you nothing about how speakers will perform in your Scottsdale great room with 14-foot ceilings and 200 square feet of glass. We bring multiple speaker configurations to your home so you hear the real-world difference in the space where you'll actually be listening.
Modern Scottsdale homes are acoustic obstacle courses — floor-to-ceiling glass, polished concrete, open volumes that connect kitchen to living room to hallway with nothing to absorb sound. We use professional measurement tools and manual calibration techniques to tame reflections, dial in frequency response, and optimize every listening position. No auto-calibration shortcuts.
Covered patio, pool deck, outdoor kitchen, casita, great room, master suite — each zone independently controlled from your phone. We design multi-zone systems where music follows you through the house and into the yard without volume problems, dead spots, or speakers fighting each other across open spaces. Background music to critical listening, every room handled properly.
All custom speakers carry a 10-year warranty. Installation includes 2 years of unlimited service calls with no trip fees. Because we take on a maximum of 15 clients per year, you get real support from the person who designed and built your system — not a call center, not a rotating crew of technicians. When you call, I answer. See our warranty page for full details.

The best time to plan your audio system is when your architect is still drawing floor plans. We collaborate with Scottsdale's design community — architects, builders, interior designers — to integrate speakers, cable pathways, and acoustic considerations into the architecture itself. Audio planned during construction disappears into the home. Audio added after construction is always a compromise.
In-wall speakers are popular in Scottsdale homes because they're invisible. They're also a significant acoustic compromise — the wall cavity becomes an uncontrolled enclosure that muddies bass and colors the sound. Our custom on-wall speakers mount flush and thin against the wall with finishes matched to your interior, but the enclosure is purpose-built and tuned. You get the clean look without sacrificing what matters most: the sound.
Scottsdale homeowners use their outdoor spaces 10+ months a year. A pair of patio speakers from a big-box store won't cut it. We design outdoor audio systems with proper zone separation, weather-rated components, and coverage patterns engineered for your specific layout — so the pool area, outdoor kitchen, and covered patio each sound right without drowning each other out.
It depends on how far you want to go. A quality 5.1 system with custom on-wall speakers, professional installation, and calibration typically starts around $10,000–$15,000 for a Scottsdale home. Most of our DC Ranch and Silverleaf clients land in the $18,000–$30,000 range for 7.1 systems with handcrafted speakers designed around their architecture. Dedicated theater rooms with full Dolby Atmos can run $30,000–$50,000+. Every project gets a detailed proposal after we see your space and understand what you're after.
Absolutely. We install throughout North Scottsdale — DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Troon, Grayhawk, Desert Mountain, Estancia, Pinnacle Peak, and all surrounding communities. We're familiar with the architectural styles and HOA considerations in each of these neighborhoods. Many of our Scottsdale clients have referred us to their neighbors, so we know these communities well.
We start with a free phone call to understand your goals, your room, and your budget range. If there's a good fit, we schedule an in-home site survey ($250, credited toward your project). That's where it gets interesting — we bring multiple speaker configurations to your Scottsdale home and play them in your actual space. You hear the difference between good, better, and best in the room where you'll actually be listening. We also take measurements, assess your room's acoustics, and discuss design options that work with your home's architecture.
Because a showroom is lying to you. Showrooms are acoustically treated rooms designed to make speakers sound their best. Your Scottsdale great room with 14-foot ceilings, a wall of sliding glass, and polished concrete floors is a completely different acoustic environment. Speakers that sounded incredible in a treated demo room can sound thin, harsh, or boomy in an open desert modern floor plan. We bring the speakers to you so there are no surprises.
Custom speakers take 6–12 weeks or more for design and fabrication in our Arizona workshop. During that time, we finalize finish selections to match your home's materials and coordinate with your designer or builder if the project involves new construction or renovation. Installation and calibration at your Scottsdale home take 1–3 days depending on system size. We provide a complete timeline during consultation, and you follow every step of the build through our online portfolio system — real-time photo updates from CNC cutting through final bench testing.
No. We only service and install systems we designed and built. I know that's not what most people want to hear, but there's a good reason. When we inherit another installer's work, we're dealing with undocumented decisions, unknown cable runs, and equipment combinations we didn't choose. We can't guarantee results on a foundation we didn't lay. What we can do is design a completely new system for your Scottsdale home — and some existing components like displays, seating, or acoustic treatments may carry over.
Because I'd rather build 15 systems I'm proud of than 50 I'm not. Every set of speakers is designed from scratch, fabricated by hand, installed personally, and calibrated on-site. That takes time. Limiting our client base means every Scottsdale homeowner gets my direct involvement from the first phone call through years of ongoing support. You'll never get handed off to a technician you've never met.
Schedule a free phone consultation. We'll discuss your space, your goals, and whether we're the right fit.
